An Owen Thomas & Associates Pty Limited (OTA) independent Executive Remuneration Review is a three-stage process:
- OTA will discuss with the director commissioning
the report: the data details of the company required, who are the competitor
companies for your staff, the timing of the report and any other issues of
which OTA should be aware.
- Following this meeting OTA will prepare a report
using our extensive experience and data on the remuneration of executives from
companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. Including, comparisons with
other companies by market capitalisation, employees and industry group, the
report will provide recommendations for all forms of remuneration being:
- Base Remuneration - base salary, benefits and all fixed forms of remuneration;
- Short-Term Incentives - any performance-based remuneration assessed over twelve months or less; and
- Long-Term Incentives - any performance based remuneration assessed over two years or longer.
- Finally, OTA will provide the report for review
and be available for discussion, regarding the report’s findings and any
recommendations. Once an initial review has been completed an easily comparable
review update can be undertaken annually.
